Here is a picture of one of the many gall stones that was in Ry's gall bladder, I compared it to a dime, I didn't realize they could get that big... One of they got stuck in his pancreatic duct and caused pancreatitis, Ry was in so much pain and he got so sick, the poor kid, I felt helpless but thanks again to all for all the help and fast acting docters. We love you all..

So.. some may know, some may not..but Ry got real sick and was admitted into the hospital on Monday Oct 13.. It's been a whirl wind of a week but he made it :) After two surgery's and four days starvation he is finally out and home recovering. Here is a picture the dr took while removing his inflamed gallbladder, I thought it was cool, Ry not so much, he didn't want me to post it.. I got more but I'll stick to just the one. Thank you to all, for all your prayers and concerns. We have such wonderful family, friends and neighbors I can't thank you enough. Thank you, also, to all the wonderful docters and nurses he was so well taken care of, everyone at the hospital was amazing.

So Ry and I took a real short trip and went hunting this last weekend. We left friday and went hunting with the McQuivey family. Every year, the last weekend in September, we go black powder hunt. We had such a blast. It was so good to see the McQuivey family they are so fun to be around. Sad to say no one shot anything, but I really think they just go to get away and be with family. It was a really short trip, we returned home on Sunday but it was worth it. Thanks for the good time, Quivers!!! The weather was beautiful and perfect and the trees were gorgeous.

A day at the Temple

This last week was a crazy one...Ry was at boy scout camp all week and when he returned home on Saturday morning we took off for another great adventure. :) We had such an amazing day on Saturday, one that won't ever be forgotten. We drove down to the Manti Temple and were sealed for time and all eternity. It was such a special day and we are so grateful for all the family and friends that drove the 2 hour drive to be there with us, thank you so much. We love you all and are so privileged to be a part of such wonderful families...

So Ry and I decided to take a short little trip to F lamming Gorge for the 4th of July. I hadn't been in so long so it was so fun to go. We ended the trip a day early because the wind was so bad...and our tent was too tall... It decided to blow over and it got a big tear in it, so we threw it away and called it a day :) Here are a couple of pictures though... Ry loved the fishing and that's all he did, and my dog, Saydie, who I love dearly, decided after four years of not liking water, decided to jump in and swim, so being the proud mom that I am, I took plenty of pictures :)

So Ry and I took off last week and went to Yellowstone with the McQuivey Family... It was Ry's first time so we tried to see and do as much as we could. Ry loved the rivers and fished three out of the five days we were there(he would have done more, but the wife got the rest of the time). We stayed in Island Park and went into West Yellowstone a lot. Ry fished mostly on the Madison with success and then we went to Cliff lake where he also had success. All in all Ry caught 7 fish with the biggest being the 16" rainbow trout. What a wonderful time we had with the family. It was so nice to get away. We missed the Iowa McQuivey's, maybe next time. We love you guys and miss you.

Park City

Ok, so we went with some of our closest friends for a weekend trip to Park City... We had such a blast and hopefully it's a tradition we can keep around for a long time... Thank you so much for coming, you guys are awesome! Sorry it took so long for me to get pictures up...Life has been crazy with school and church callings. Ry is in the young mens and that keeps him busy at least two nights a week and they called me to teach the 11 year old girls, I am also on the activity committee, and have a blast helping plan our activities. We have been so blessed to be in the ward that we are in, we have grown so much because of the people in our ward. Ry and I are also attending a Temple class, we are getting closer every week to being an Eternal family and can't wait, we are overjoyed with our lives right now and couldn't be happier, we just stay way too busy ;)

Moab April 2008

We took the hummer on some more trails, it did amazing. It was such a good choice for us when it comes to vehicles. The trail is "fins and things" it is rated difficult and the hummer did it with no dents. We had such a blast... Pictures don't do the trail justice. There were a couple spots where I got out and didn't think it was gonna make it :)

So here is Ryan and his beloved dog... they love to cuddle on the love sac.. :)

Oh and here are Ryan and I in the best place on earth... Moab. We go two or three times a year and would live there if we could afford it. We just got back a week ago, it was a little chilly, but well worth the needed vacation.

Since we have no little ones, we love our dog just like a kid... she is spoiled, I love her to death. Saydie is four years old.
